A ‘Severe Heatwave’ advisory is issued when areas already under a heatwave advisory (defined as experiencing a daily highest apparent temperature of 35°C or higher for at least two consecutive days) are expected to see the highest apparent temperature reach 38°C or higher, or the highest temperature reach 39°C or higher, for more than one day.

The expected rainfall amounts are between 5 to 40mm for Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province, 5 to 20mm for the western coastal islands, 5 to 40mm for inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, and 5 to 20mm for the northeastern coastal areas of Gangwon Province.
Morning low temperatures on Monday are predicted to range from 22°C to 26°C, with daytime highs reaching between 28°C and 36°C. Major cities are expected to experience the following temperatures:
- Seoul: 26°C – 33°C
- Daejeon: 25°C – 34°C
- Gwangju: 25°C – 35°C
- Daegu: 25°C – 36°C
- Busan: 26°C – 33°C
