Smallest Silver Spoon in Korea Unveiled
The spoon, created by chairman Park Se-hoon, stands out as the tiniest of its kind in the country. It features intricate engravings of around 230 names and measures roughly 300 millimeters in detail. Park Se-hoon personally showcased the craftsmanship, highlighting how it captures heartfelt messages from visitors.
Emotional Connection to Past Career
Seo Jang-Hoon reflected on the spot, stating, “Until two years ago, all my external activities were coordinated from here. It’s a truly precious place for me.” The discovery stirred deep emotions, as the spoon symbolized his career milestones. He openly admitted, “It’s still precious even to my wife,” emphasizing its lasting impact.
Park Se-hoon shared vivid memories, noting, “Seo Jang-Hoon would come down to the lobby every morning, spot me, and check in like clocking into work before heading out for schedules. He always verified his favorite fiber that way.” He described Seo as “originally a passionate individual,” underscoring the strong bond formed over time.
Craftsmanship and Workshop Legacy
The workshop, a 40-year-old enterprise specializing in silver spoons from coins, achieves annual sales peaking at 140 billion won. Park Se-hoon stressed the precision involved: “In silver spoon making, not even a single pun (0.001 gram) of weight varies.” Profits from the business fund these custom creations without waste, ensuring authenticity.
Visitors actively contribute by engraving names and messages on safety pins, capsules, and other items like fitness center weights up to 25 pyeong. Community elements, including Noræbang, fitness centers, dog-related spots, and health management centers, foster lively daily interactions and resident pride.
Seo Jang-Hoon’s heartfelt reaction, coupled with the spoon’s intricate interior revealing career highlights, created a poignant moment of nostalgia and appreciation for dedicated fans’ efforts.
