Kim Bo-seong Named to Imperial Culture Foundation Board
Kim Bo-seong, CEO of Our Traditional Spirits Society, has been appointed as the new Vice Chairman of the Imperial Culture Foundation. This organization was established by Lee Seok, the last Imperial Prince of the Great Korean Empire, with the mission of preserving the history of the Korean Imperial Family, inheriting traditional culture, and promoting imperial art.
Recognizing Contributions to Traditional Culture
According to the Imperial Culture Foundation, the decision to appoint Kim Bo-seong was made on the 25th. The foundation cited his significant contributions to the preservation and inheritance of Korea’s traditional culture. Kim leads Our Traditional Spirits Society, a company with two decades of experience specializing in traditional liquors. The company also operates its own brewing facilities.
Kim has been actively working to popularize traditional liquors. A representative from the foundation stated, “We highly recognize his efforts in widely disseminating and developing the value of Korean traditional spirits.”
Vision for Global Cultural Promotion
In his statement, Kim expressed his commitment to the role. “Moving forward, I will dedicate my best efforts not only to preserving and passing down our traditional culture, including our spirits, but also to globally promoting the proud imperial history and cultural arts of Korea,” he said.
