ITZY gears up for a highly anticipated comeback on May 18 with their new mini album Motto, featuring the title track of the same name. JYP Entertainment unveiled the teaser images, tracklist, and promotional schedule on official SNS channels today.
Swift Follow-Up to Recent Release
The group delivers this new project just six months after their November 2025 album TUNNEL VISION, aiming to heighten excitement among fans worldwide. The teaser showcases dynamic choreography with explosive jumps on stacked hands, highlighting the members’ powerful energy and synchronized movements.
A close-up of member Lia draws eyes with her captivating expression amid the intense scene. Each member’s distinct charm shines through playful hops, shouts, dances, and serene moments, underscoring their unique appeal.
Collaborative Direction and Tracklist
Acclaimed director Lea Esmaili, known for directing music videos across genres like R&B, lead, and art, partnered with ITZY to infuse bold visuals and distinctive styles. Her work emphasizes unique imagery and solid concepts.
The album packs eight tracks total: the title track Motto, Glitch, you And I, and five solo songs—one per member—including Pocket by Yeji, Asylum by Lia, LOOK by Ryujin, Undefined by Chaeryeong, and Tangerine by Yuna.
Producers such as Shim Eunji, Irumin (collapsedone), KASS, and Justin Reinstein contributed to the project.
Promotional Rollout and Recent Momentum
ITZY plans to release a concept poster on the 27th themed What is your Motto, followed by album spoilers, music video teasers, and more. A countdown live stream launches five hours before the full music video drops on release day.
The US physical album remix version hits shelves at 1 p.m. today. Fans, known as MIDZY, eagerly await the comeback.
Building hype, ITZY debuted world tour performances at Seoul Jazz Festival in February, where THAT’S A NO NO (performed as 대추 노노) topped charts and sparked viral fan reactions online. Recent stages on Melon on the 17th and Sidni TikTok on the 19th marked the highest viewership for any world tour act this month.
