Lee Ji-hoon and his wife Aya Ne’s 20-month-old daughter Ruhi has amazed fans with her impressive bilingual abilities in Korean and Japanese.
Heartwarming Family Video
Aya Ne shared a delightful video on the 14th, captioning it, “She’s already speaking two languages fluently. Cuteness is all that matters.” The clip shows the family enjoying fruit together, with Ruhi munching happily and stealing the show.
Aya Ne asks in Japanese, “Is it delicious? You should say it’s delicious.” Ruhi responds cutely with “Mashita”—Japanese for “It’s delicious.” Moments later, Ruhi switches to Korean, declaring “Atchimma,” meaning “It’s spicy.”
Aya Ne laughs and replies, “You don’t have to say it’s spicy. Ruhi doesn’t hate spicy food, does she?” The toddler’s seamless language shift brings a proud smile to her mother’s face.
Couple’s Journey and Growing Family
The couple overcame a 14-year age difference to marry in 2021 and welcomed daughter Ruhi soon after. Korean and Japanese fans celebrate Ruhi as a budding “bilingual genius.”
Recently, Aya Ne underwent successful IVF treatment and embryo transfer for their second child. She shared cautiously, “We’re not fully confident yet, so we remain careful.” At an event marking their IVF decision, Aya Ne carried a bag featuring a second-child badge, sparking further excitement.
