Nationwide Rainfall Expected Sunday, Highs Reach 29 Degrees Celsius
Sunday, the 7th, is set to bring widespread rain across the country. Initial reports indicate that precipitation will begin in the Gyeongsang region and Jeju Island during the morning. By the afternoon, the rain is expected to expand to the southern inland areas of Chungcheong and eastern Jeolla. The forecast suggests that by nighttime, the central regions will also experience rainfall.
Specific Precipitation Details
Light showers, less than 0.1mm, are anticipated in the northern parts of Gyeonggi and Gangwon in the early morning. Eastern Jeolla is also expected to see scattered raindrops during the morning hours.
Expected rainfall amounts vary by region. Busan and Ulsan are projected to receive around 5mm. Inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, eastern Jeolla, and the Daegu, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam regions could see between 5 to 20mm. Jeju Island is forecast to receive 5 to 10mm.

Wave heights are expected to be between 0.5 to 2.0 meters along the eastern coast, 0.5 to 1.0 meters along the west coast, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters along the south coast. In the open sea (approximately within 200km of the coastline), wave heights are anticipated to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the east and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the west and south.
