Actress Han Ga-in recently expressed renewed admiration for her husband, Yeon Jung-hoon’s appearance.
During a recent YouTube appearance on the channel ‘Kkondaehee,’ Han Ga-in reflected on her marriage of 21 years to Yeon Jung-hoon. She recalled the time she first married him at the young age of 23 and shared how her perspective on physical attractiveness has evolved over time.
Shifting Perspectives on Appearance
Han Ga-in commented, “As you live together, the importance of physical features becomes less significant.” She added, “It’s the same for me with my husband, and for him with me. As you get used to each other, the thought of ‘handsome’ or ‘not handsome’ seems to disappear. You just see the person themselves.””:
A Moment of Rekindled Attraction
However, she described a specific recent moment that brought her husband’s appearance back into focus. “We recently had a date filming in Yangjaecheon,” she explained. “We didn’t appear together, but met on opposite sides and had a date, sitting face-to-face and eating. Usually, while raising the children, my husband sits next to me. But that day, I sat directly across from him.”
She humorously recalled, “His expression that day was so ‘meong-hang-ha-da’ [a term implying a blank or unfocused, yet charming, look],” eliciting laughter.
Han Ga-in’s Ideal Type
Han Ga-in candidly shared her preferences, stating, “My husband’s face is exactly my ideal type.” She elaborated, “I like someone who looks soft and gentle, not too intense, like a slightly firm tofu. I like faces that give a good impression, people who look innocent.””:
She confessed, “Looking at my husband that day, I thought, ‘Right. That’s why I liked him in the first place. He’s still so kind-looking.’ I had forgotten.”
