Police Probe Officer in Alleged Unauthorized Filming Incident
Authorities have launched an investigation into a male police officer in his twenties who is suspected of secretly filming intimate encounters. The officer, identified as Mr. A, was apprehended and sent to prosecutors in connection with alleged violations of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.
Investigation Details Emerge
According to the Haeundae Police Station in Busan, Mr. A, who was undergoing training at the Central Police Academy at the time, is accused of using his mobile phone to record sexual activity with a woman, Ms. B, in December of last year. The incident reportedly took place at a guesthouse where they were staying.
It is understood that Mr. A claimed to have deleted the footage after Ms. B discovered the recordings. However, subsequent forensic analysis of his mobile phone is said to have recovered portions of the video content.
Mr. A has reportedly denied the allegations against him.
