A deer that escaped from a farm in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province, made its way to neighboring Seoul and was captured at Cheonwang Station in Guro-gu.

Officials confirm five adult deer escaped from a farm in Okgi-dong, Gwangmyeong-si, on April 22. Authorities believe the captured animal is one of them, as Cheonwang Station borders the area.
Local police in Guro-gu deployed drones and related equipment to track the animals.
Capture Reported
At around 8:22 a.m. on April 24, station staff reported spotting the deer near the Cheonwang Station camping area. An employee secured the animal safely and promptly alerted emergency services by calling 119.
Guro-gu officials issued an update at 9 a.m., stating the deer was found at the station’s camping site and rescued without incident.
