LG Twins outfielder Choi Kang-hwi recently drank water straight from a logistics center and encouraged others to do the same, declaring it tastier than filtered options.
YouTube Challenge Highlights Safety
On the sixth, Choi featured on his YouTube channel ‘Na Do Choi Kang-hwi’ and addressed skeptics. ‘Even purified water from heavy metals? No need for doubt,’ he stated after sampling it confidently.
Accompanied by teammate Lee Ji-geun, Choi visited the facility where fan-sent water products arrive. He inspected bottles from fan mail and took on the challenge of drinking them on site.
Inspection Reveals Impressive Operations
A brand manager confirmed the center operates to high standards, ensuring safety across all locations nationwide.
While organizing products by order volume at the warehouse entrance, Choi examined three 270mm-sized jars, equivalent in capacity to 270 standard bottles. He demonstrated their cleanliness firsthand.
Choi also assisted staff in arranging items and addressed concerns about water safety. One employee noted past complaints about potential dangers lasted a full year. Choi responded, ‘One month? In 1-2 weeks, you’d find twice as many issues if they existed.’ The staffer replied they’d resolved concerns in exactly two weeks.
‘Such risks are rare. Test it for two weeks to ease worries,’ Choi advised.
Personal Endorsement and Call to Action
Choi shared his experience: ‘My wife and daughter drank it at a fan event, confirming its safety. Yet anxiety lingered, so I came, tried it, and found it fresh and delicious—better than filtered water. Come taste it yourself.’
Through the YouTube video, Choi directly challenges those wary of water from logistics centers, urging them to verify its quality in person.
