Mizuno introduces a premium edition of its Pro M-15 irons tailored for the Korean market: the Mizuno Pro M-15 Gray IP. This model retains the original M-15’s precise forging and sizing while upgrading the head finish to a sophisticated Gray IP (Ion Plating) coating, delivering a luxurious external appearance.
Preserved Design and Enhanced Premium Appeal
The irons maintain the unchanged top line and overall design integrity, appealing to golfers who value Mizuno’s premium iron aesthetics. Engineers maximized repulsion through the top line without altering the blade’s clean look, creating a New Hot Metal Blade Iron construction that boosts distance and forgiveness across the set.
Optimized Performance by Iron Type
Long irons incorporate approximately 50g of tungsten weighting combined with strategic center-of-gravity placement for a low CG, ensuring stable ball speeds and consistent carry distances. Middle irons blend blade-like shaping with contour top lines, while short irons feature low CG designs that enhance spin rates and deliver precise contour control.
From the 5-iron through the 8-iron, a Contour Ellipse Face design increases ball speeds and maintains forgiveness on off-center strikes, allowing reliable performance even on mishits.
Shaft and Set Configuration
These irons feature refined designs for greater forgiveness, paired with the Gray IP head to elevate the premium image. Matching shafts like DYNAMIC GOLD 105 ONYX BLACK and NS PRO 950GH NEO BLACK integrate seamlessly with the head finish and grooves, unifying the club’s overall feel.
The set launches from 5-iron through pitching wedge (5-PW).
Targeted for Discerning Golfers
A Mizuno representative stated, “The Mizuno Pro M-15 Gray IP edition offers a strategic selection for golfers who prioritize both performance and visual appeal.”
