MOKPO — A Chinese language fishing boat capsized off South Korea’s southwestern Gageo Island on Sunday, leaving three crew members lacking and two others in cardiac arrest, Coast Guard officers stated.
The 98-ton vessel sank in worldwide waters about 80 kilometers off Gageo Island at round 6:50 a.m., based on officers.
Of the 11 folks on board, six have been initially rescued by one other Chinese language vessel working close by. The Coast Guard later rescued two extra who have been drifting at sea, however each have been present in cardiac arrest and rushed to a hospital, officers stated.
