A Serendipitous Return to Music
After nearly four decades away from the stage, Jeong Mi-jo’s return to music was a chance encounter. She met singer Choi Baek-ho, who encouraged her to resume her singing career. Choi Baek-ho reportedly asked why she wasn’t singing when her voice was still in excellent condition. He went further, introducing her to an album producer, which ultimately led to her miraculous comeback as a singer.
Jeong Mi-jo expressed her deep gratitude for the enthusiastic reception her music has received from younger generations, particularly those in their 20s and 30s.
