LG Electronics demonstrates AI capabilies by generating music from home menus like ‘Music Q Card,’ where artificial intelligence matches jacket images to create personalized soundtracks. The company’s advanced ‘More Next OLED’ platform pushes TV brightness boundaries wh a new full-array local dimming system.
Latest Lineup Debuts in Seoul
LG Electronics showcased s 2026 OLED TV models at an event in Yangpyeong-dong, Seoul, on the 25th. These flagship products feature hardware optimized for varying ambient light condions, paired wh a webOS platform enhanced by generative AI for personalized experiences.
LG Display executives highlight how the CX tandem display integrates a single-sided panel wh a full AI chipset and reflection-minimizing backscatter technology to deliver the ‘More Next OLED’ series. “This surpasses conventional displays by combining single-sided panels wh advanced AI chipsets and reflection-free back surfaces,” an LG Display official stated.
Alpha 11 AI Processor Powers Performance
The 2026 OLED evo lineup incorporates the ‘Alpha 11 AI Processor,’ an upgrade that boosts picture and audio engine performance by one level. This processor delivers 70% greater graphics performance and 30% faster processing speeds compared to previous models, enabling generative AI functions directly on the TV.
Premium Brightness and Reflection Control
Premium models in the M·G series employ ‘brightness ratio technology’ for complete panel control. The G series integrates ‘Micro Lens Array (MLA) Plus,’ which scatters light from lenses to maximize brightness while preserving peak performance.
A brightness development expert from LG Display noted, “Even in 500 lux ambient light, black levels reach 0.02 to 0.03 ns, achieving perfect black whout gray tones. LG OLEDs realize true perfect black in real-world condions.” The lineup also uses reflection-preventing ‘Lip Reflection Free Premium’ technology, directing ambient light outward through optimized backscatter for enhanced contrast and color accuracy across environments.
RGB Innovation for Entry-Level Premiums
Chopro Premium features the ‘LG Micro Lens RGB evo’ lineup, which replaces conventional whe LEDs in LCD TVs wh tiny Red, Green, and Blue LEDs. This boosts color expression dramatically. “Micro Lens RGB elevates color pury to OLED levels in premium LCD technology,” the LG Display executive added.
Model Lineup and Pricing
For 2026, LG operates OLED evo (models: G6/C6), OLED TV (B6), spanning 42 to 97 inches for the widest size range. Domestic launches include:
- 65-inch: 3.29 million KRW (B6) to 3.79 million KRW (C6)
- 77-inch: 5.69 million KRW (B6) to 8.70 million KRW (G6)
- 83-inch: 7.90 million KRW (B6) to 13 million KRW (G6)
Upcoming releases feature the all-in-one OLED paper TV (W6 series) and Micro RGB TV.
LG Electronics MS Business Division President Park Hyeong-se emphasized, “Through 2026 OLEDs, we solidify leadership in the global premium TV market.”
