Trot singer Yang Sang-kuk bowed his head in apology after host Yoo Jae-suk sternly reprimanded him for crude remarks during a KBS variety show appearance.
Incident on ‘Rooftop Room’s Problem Children’
Yang Sang-kuk participated in a segment on KBS’s ‘옥탑방의 문제아들,’ where he made bold claims about men’s anatomy. He asserted that bulges remain prominent even in Hawaii and physically grabbed the largest contestant’s bulge to demonstrate.
Reflecting on the moment, Yang explained his behavior stems from his introverted personality. “My true nature is reserved, but I tend to overact on camera,” he stated. He further admitted, “I went overboard due to greed for screen time.”
Previous Backlash from YouTube Appearance
Earlier, Yang appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Ddeun Ddeun’ in the ‘Pinggye Go’ content, declaring, “Women don’t have proper bulges.” The comment drew significant backlash from viewers.
When Yoo Jae-suk advised, “If you love it, perform it more diligently without shame,” Yang shot back, “That’s your style, Yoo Jae-suk.” He added, “One more swing here would be a home run,” even as tensions rose on set.
Additional Remarks on tvN Show
During an episode of tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday,’ Yang opted for humor over sympathy regarding comedian Kim Hae-jun’s injury, opting to tease instead of offering condolences.
When questioned about his boldest creation, Yang quipped, “It’s right there,” referring to a vulgar term. He continued, “Women don’t go home alone. I have to escort them,” prompting stunned reactions from the studio audience.
