Singer Lee Jae-hoon has shed 10kg in just three weeks, unveiling his lean, ripped abs in preparation for an upcoming concert. The transformation stunned audiences during his recent appearance on KBS 2TV’s music talk show ‘The Season 3 – Sung Si-kyung’s Thankful Bros,’ where he confidently displayed his tanned physique.
Dramatic Body Change for Stage Return
Lee Jae-hoon explained that he originally planned to gain weight but shifted focus to slim down specifically for the concert. ‘I felt bad for fans who preferred my plump figure, as they’ve missed seeing my muscles for so long,’ he shared. After 30 years of eating freely and staying home, he now commits to rigorous full-body workouts across the country.
Joint specialists assured him it’s safe, easing concerns about muscle loss. ‘I’ve returned to broadcasting after three years and practiced intensely for the concert. Now, I feel great turning around and seeing my abs,’ Lee said. ‘Even after running for 10 or 20 years, I want that one satisfying glimpse.’
Motivation and Industry Pressures
Lee emphasized the necessity of the change: ‘It’s not my style, but everyone in the industry does concerts. I buy clothes weekly, and without losing weight, I couldn’t handle the anxiety of supplements. This position demands it.’
Host Sung Si-kyung, also on a diet, revealed, ‘I was chubby even in my twenties on Jeju. Now, I’ve lost 8kg in two and a half months.’ Lee countered, ‘I’ve dropped 10kg in three weeks,’ prompting laughter.
Sung praised the results: ‘Doing concert prep made me lose 10kg without effort, and my mood is even better. If I do another full concert, I’ll shed another 10kg.’ Lee agreed, ‘Today feels good, and I want to keep it that way.’
Mutual Encouragement on Weight Loss
Sung added, ‘Losing weight through hardship is essential. Broadcasting while slim is the way.’ Lee responded, ‘Sung doesn’t look skinny yet, and among many busy people, few stay slim.’
Reflecting further, Lee noted, ‘I gained skin and rosacea before, but now I’m back to normal. That’s why I enjoy modern learning’s taste. Without management, it returns. Catching minds strongly, with lots of sleep, it’s hard not to gain.’
