Conservative National Rally Unfolds
Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church spearheaded a major event titled the ‘National Constitutional Citizens Rally’ at the Donghwa Duty Free altar in Jongno-gu starting after 1 p.m. Crowds gathered at Seoul Station, then marched to Gwanghwamun, voicing strong opposition to the current administration through chants. Following speeches, participants advanced toward the main altar site.
Progressive Candlelight March Takes Place
Progressive citizen groups convened the 177th Candlelight March around 4 p.m. near the Supreme Court in Seocho-gu’s Daebeopwon area. Activists sharply criticized the judiciary during the gathering and plan to continue with a march to Gwanghwamun afterward.
