Singer Baek Ji-young shared a heartfelt family moment when her 29-month-old daughter met her 80-year-old grandmother for the first time during a recent TV episode.

The episode of Baek Ji-young Baek Z Young, titled ‘Baek Ji-young ♥ Jung Seok-won Couple’s Real Daily Life Date,’ aired on May 2. Baek and her husband Jung Seok-won enjoyed a casual coffee chat with their toddler, marking a special family outing.
Baek arrived at her daughter’s school carrying the child. She explained, “I had no one to watch her while I was at the hospital, so I brought her along. Seeing her face up close shocked me again at how much she looks like me.”
Surprise Encounter at National International School
Enrolled at the National International School, the young girl received a warm welcome from the school principal—her own grandmother, now 80 years old. The grandmother reacted to Baek’s appearance, stating, “Does mom do makeup like that? It’s too much. Grandma did makeup too. Sorry about that.”
When the daughter curiously asked, “Why did grandma become so old?”, the grandmother replied lightheartedly, “I caught a cold [referring to heavy makeup], but now I’m better. I’ve gained a lot of weight.”
Baek showed her daughter a photo of her father Jung Seok-won. The toddler remarked, “So sloppy. She ate more and got fatter there.” She added playfully, “Even the lips are caught? There should be more lips to grab things with.”
