SK New Galaxy Raiders women’s handball team secured a historic perfect 21-0 record in the regular season of the Shinhan SOL Bank 2025-2026 Handball H-League. The team capped off this achievement with a decisive 31-24 victory over Incheon City Hall on April 18 at Ticket Link Live Arena in Seoul Olympic Park.
Landmark Undefeated Campaign
This flawless performance marks the first perfect regular season championship in H-League history since its launch in the 2023-2024 season. Previously, the Doosan men’s team accomplished a 20-0 sweep in the 2018-2019 SK Handball Korea League. SK’s 21 straight wins set a new benchmark in the league’s short history.
Building on last season’s near-perfect run—where the team notched 19 consecutive wins before a narrow loss to Busan Facilities Corporation—SK dominated every regular-season matchup this year, seizing the top spot early and never looking back.
Dominant Final Match
In the women’s third-round clash, SK outpaced Incheon City Hall with superior offense and defense. The win confirmed their undefeated status across all 21 games, solidifying their position as regular-season champions.
League-Leading Stats
SK led the women’s division’s eight teams in scoring at 29.7 goals per game while allowing the fewest at 24.6 goals against. The Raiders also set league records with 114 fast-break goals and 355 assists. Their discipline shone through with just 138 turnovers, the lowest in the league.
Star player Choi Ji-hye topped the scoring charts with 155 goals and earned Regular Season MVP honors.
Coach’s Insights
SK coach Kim Kyung-jin highlighted the team’s resilience: “Concentrated efforts in early challenging games built confidence and propelled us to this perfect season. I’m grateful to the players. We’ll prepare rigorously for the playoffs to claim a third consecutive championship.”
