Tommie Lee revealed that his participation in the intense cooking competition stemmed from his eldest son, who lives with a developmental disability. He aimed to demonstrate that even a self-described ‘clueless chef’ can passionately embrace cooking. ‘My son watched the episodes and exclaimed, “That's the one!” He adores the look, bald head and all—it’s thrilling to see,’ Lee stated.
Fateful Connection and Fan Moment
The encounter began with a direct message from Jeong Eun-hye’s mother, extending a warm welcome. Lee disclosed that his wife has long been a fan of the family, sparking an instant connection. ‘It felt like love at first sight,’ he added. The mother explained the outreach tied to plans for opening a cafe, fostering a sense of attachment.
Lee shared his own aspiration: ‘My dream is to run a cafe alongside my son someday.’ He views this bond as a tremendous opportunity and pure destiny, strengthening ties between the families.
