Government Performance Evaluation
Positive assessments of government performance reached 56.5%, while negative views dropped to 38.9%, down 0.2 percentage points. An additional 4.6% of respondents remained undecided.
The survey targeted 2,524 adults aged 18 and older across the nation from September 9 to 13. Analysts adjusted for ruling party supporter ratios and evaluated trust based on key factors, including the Kospi index surpassing 5,500 points and other favorable economic indicators.
Party Support Trends
A companion poll conducted September 12-13 among 1,009 adults in the Seoul-Incheon area showed the Democratic Party with 44.8% support, up 2.8 percentage points from the prior week. The People Power Party garnered 36.1%, rising 1.2 points.
Other parties included the National Innovation Party at 3.8%, the Reform Party at 2.7%, and the Progressive Party at 1.5%. No affiliation stood at 9.2%.
Survey Methodology
Both surveys employed standard random digit dialing via telephone. The margin of error for the presidential approval poll is ±2.0 percentage points, and ±3.1 percentage points for the party support poll, at a 95% confidence level.
