Yoo Jae-suk shared a heartfelt moment during a European outing for the ‘Pung Hiang Go’ event, featured in a January 14 video on the ‘Dundun’ channel.
Taxi Ride Turns Emotional
After wrapping up the second round performance, Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, Lee Sang-min, and Yang Se-chan left their hotel in Vienna, Austria. They hopped into taxis bound for a cozy restaurant in Budapest, Hungary, for dinner.
Inside the taxi, Yoo Jae-suk received a photo of a newborn baby from his wife. Overcome with emotion, he expressed regret at not seeing the child in person. Ji Suk-jin lightened the mood, stating, “If we keep this up, this spot won’t stay safe.”
Fatherhood Reflections
Yoo Jae-suk opened up about balancing family life. “I made plenty of room at home for the baby—diaper changes, dorm naps, even house hunting take up the biggest space,” he said, beaming with paternal joy.
Ji Suk-jin responded, “It’s great; this feels like real cultural living.” Yoo Jae-suk agreed, adding, “Denmark was a fantastic experience too.”
Growing reflective, Yoo Jae-suk told the group, “Even if I go tomorrow, having kids makes it all worthwhile. At our age now, Ji-ho and I need to witness moments like this. My wife Na-kyoung loves these things—she adores such heartwarming scenes.”
Unable to contain his feelings, tears welled up as he contemplated joys he couldn’t fully share with his children.
Family Background
Yoo Jae-suk married announcer Na-kyoung in 2008. The couple has two sons: older son Ji-ho and younger son Kyung.
