Actress Yun Jin-i has revealed she reached her lightest-ever body weight of 44kg during an intense diet following a break from activities. In a recent YouTube video on her channel ‘Real Yun Jin-i’ titled ‘Yun Jin-i Comeback: Daily Life as a Small Pet Owner,’ she openly shares her transformation and current routine with fans.
Struggles During the Diet
Yun Jin-i stayed home focused solely on household chores and childcare during the strict diet phase. She avoided social media entirely, lurking silently without posting. Temptations from food aromas proved challenging, and she rarely ate properly even at home, sticking only to meals prepared by her parents.
‘I was incredibly disciplined with myself, which made everything feel so real,’ Yun Jin-i stated. ‘Even without gadgets, boredom hit hard, so I ended up sleeping by 9 or 10 p.m. That’s when I realized how structured I truly am.’
Now weighing 45kg, she clarified, ‘I’m not the chatty type. After external commitments, today’s content is just for my own satisfaction.’ Despite hitting 44kg at her lowest for the diet, she noted her current weight reflects a slight rebound.
Simple Joys at Home
Matching her petite frame, Yun Jin-i returned home to prioritize pet care. ‘Living alone would feel lonely, but our J.Jenny, who showers me with love, keeps me happy,’ she shared. She reflected on future plans, saying, ‘Starting elementary school would mean gaining more weight. Better tension comes from friends, but I miss having a fuller figure.’
Evening Out with Husband
Recently, Yun Jin-i and her husband ventured out for drinks, embracing their love for alcohol that dates back to their dating days. They enjoyed it three times a week, with her husband noting, ‘No booze meant no fun back then.’
Her husband added, ‘Even now, without J.Jenny, we’d probably still crave it.’ Yun Jin-i countered, ‘Actually, I prefer this life more. It brings joy in the little things.’
Afterward, the couple picked up their children, prompting her husband to remark, ‘Is this really how we live around here?’ Yun Jin-i responded affirmatively, ‘Life is exactly like this.’
