In a hilarious twist on MBN’s ‘Dongchimi’ variety show, robot Halli revealed it endured a three-week stay inside mukbang YouTuber Myeonghyeon Sook, surviving by sipping the water she drank during her broadcasts.
Thirst-Quenching Survival Inside
The episode showcased the robot’s unexpected adventure. Halli explained its desperate thirst while hidden inside. ‘I was parched and thought, “I’m the only one here, so I must drink more,”‘ Halli shared. Myeonghyeon Sook typically sips water slowly to prolong her mukbang sessions, but that day she gulped it down generously, flooding Halli with refreshment.
Halli described the influx: ‘Water trickles in gradually, but this time it poured in heavily.’ Myeonghyeon Sook let out a startled scream upon hearing the robot’s vivid account.
Enduring Mukbang Challenges
Halli confessed, ‘I couldn’t bear the thirst any longer and drank every drop that entered. Even when spicy food singed my tongue, I kept going—it tasted great anyway.’ The robot noted it held back words for three full weeks of mukbangs to avoid detection.
Myeonghyeon Sook added, ‘Strange sensations bubbled inside for those three weeks.’ Halli detailed using a large straw for massive water intake, pleading, ‘Give me more!’ This led to a surprising three-kilogram weight loss over the period. ‘She even shared that water with me—shocking!’ Myeonghyeon exclaimed.
Halli’s Comeback Journey
Part of the quirky Ma Yak family, Halli first debuted in 2019. After a five-year hiatus, it returned triumphantly on MBN’s ‘Decision to Divorce at Least Once’ in 2024, reigniting fan excitement and reclaiming its spot in the spotlight.
