Official Channels Undergo Significant Visual Changes
NewJeans’ official social media platforms and music streaming profiles underwent noticeable transformations this week. Profile banners across X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube were updated to remove individual member photos, replacing them with the group’s logo design.
The changes extend to Spotify’s artist profile, where member-specific descriptions have been removed entirely. Previously listed members MINJI, HANNI, DANIELLE, HAERIN, and HYEIN now appear only under collective group credits.
Game Content Modification Raises Questions
The mobile rhythm game ‘Rhythm Hive’ also adjusted its NewJeans-related content. Players noticed Danielle’s solo images were removed from game interfaces, while other members’ promotional elements remain visible. Gameplay screens showing artist lineups and item selection menus no longer feature Danielle-specific content.
Contract Status Updates Emerge
Recent legal filings reveal four members – Hyein, Hanni, Minji, and Haerin – have renewed exclusive contracts with ADOR, the group’s management label. Minji reportedly signed after additional negotiations regarding contract duration.
Danielle’s situation appears distinct, with court documents indicating ongoing legal proceedings related to exclusive contract disputes. ADOR previously filed a 43.1 billion won ($32 million USD) compensation claim against Danielle, citing alleged contract violations.
Fan Reactions and Official Statements
Online communities have erupted with discussions interpreting these changes, with some speculating about lineup adjustments. During recent live streams, members addressed concerns stating: “We’ve pushed through difficult times together. There might be uneasy moments ahead, but we’ll continue striving to find positivity in every situation.”
When questioned about timeline concerns, representatives clarified: “Certain processes simply require more time for proper resolution – these aren’t impossibilities, but necessary phases.”
Industry analysts note Danielle recently established personal Instagram and Chinese social media accounts, while other members maintain primary activity through group channels.
