Lotte Mart and Kakao finalized a comprehensive business cooperation memorandum (MOU) on January 26 at Kakao’s Pangyo headquarters to bolster online direct sales channels. The agreement focuses on integrating Lotte Mart’s services into Kakao’s ecosystem for enhanced user accessibility.

Under this collaboration, Lotte Mart’s online grocery platform, Zetta, enables seamless shopping within Kakao’s shopping interface. Customers can now browse and purchase Lotte Mart products directly through the KakaoTalk shopping tab and other key channels, simplifying the buying process.
Zetta Platform Expansion
Lotte Mart recently introduced the ‘Zetta Smart Center Distribution’ system, which doubles storage and delivery capacity across new bases. This upgrade supports nationwide expansion of online direct sales services, ensuring efficient nationwide coverage.
The partnership emphasizes meticulous product management and operational excellence. Fresh items like produce receive direct oversight up to dispatch, with real-time tracking available online. This approach extends competitive delivery experiences to offline shoppers as well.
