(G)I-DLE member Shuhua recently shared nostalgic glimpses of her kindergarten days during a stay in Taipei, highlighting her unchanged appearance and quashing any speculation about cosmetic changes.
Reminiscing Over Childhood Snaps
In a featured video from the official Taipei tourism account titled ‘Taipei Special Edition,’ Shuhua examined an old kindergarten photo of herself. She pointed out the messy bangs, stating, ‘The bangs in the photo look all ruffled up, but it’s the signature Shuhua-style messy bangs that I created myself.’
Reflecting further on the image, she added, ‘When taking the photo, the sunlight was so intense that my mood wasn’t great.’
Love for Taipei and Fan Inspiration
Despite the mishap, Shuhua expressed deep affection for her hometown. ‘Loving Taipei just as much as fans do, I’ll carry that ultimate favorite feeling and strive to be a good role model,’ she said. ‘I hope everyone joins me in enjoying wonderful experiences in Taipei.’
Fans responded positively, calling her a ‘good role model’ for her natural look and candid sharing, which underscores why she faces no plastic surgery rumors.
Record-Breaking World Tour Momentum
(G)I-DLE launched their fourth world tour, ‘2026 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [Syncopation],’ with sold-out Seoul shows last month. On July 7, they made history as the first K-pop girl group to perform at Taipei Dome, elevating their global stature.
The members captivated 36,000 fans over three days with dynamic setlists and flawless vocals, reaffirming their worldwide appeal.
Global Expansion Ahead
Building on this success, the group announced a massive North America tour for August. They prepare to thrill local fans with the ‘2026 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [Syncopation] IN BANGKOK’ on August 21.
