A Chinese language fishing boat capsized off the southwestern coast Monday, leaving 9 individuals unaccounted for, officers stated.
The 99-ton vessel was reported to have turned over some 150 kilometers southwest of the island of Eocheong at 8:53 a.m., the Gunsan Coast Guard stated, citing a misery name from the Chinese language coast guard.
Of the 11 individuals aboard, two had been rescued by a passing cargo ship, whereas 9 remained lacking.
4 patrol vessels and helicopters have been deployed to the positioning to seek for the crew members.
The accident occurred only a day after one other Chinese language fishing vessel capsized in southwestern waters, leaving two Chinese language crew members useless and three others lacking.
The remaining six crew members had been rescued by close by vessels.
