A 15-year-old high school sophomore named Anna arrived in Korea on March 14 and plans to stay until March 28. Motivated by BTS’s complete comeback announcement, she made the trip despite initial challenges like heavy snowfall preventing entry to a prior event. Instead, she joined fellow fans at Gwanghwamun, holding a poster featuring BTS carrier stickers.
Anna discovered BTS during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 via YouTube videos. “BTS has the power to live here. They create the happiest daily life for us,” she shared. She credits their messages about self-love—embracing one’s true self despite appearances—with resonating deeply. Her favorite member is the one dubbed ‘World Wide Handsome,’ and top track is from the Netflix series “In the Soop.”

Not just youth, entire families share the fandom. Unis Panka, 46, and her husband Daniel Panka, also 46, run a BTS fan cafe in Sao Paulo. They arrived directly from Brazil, sporting tattoos of the number ‘7’ to honor the group. At a local K-food shop, they purchased BTS-themed stickers for their carriers.
The couple anticipates visiting HYBE’s headquarters on March 21. Unis tearfully recalled, “During the tough COVID times, BTS gave us their love.” Daniel added, “BTS keeps getting better, and their energy makes us cheerful.”
