Actress Lee Sun-bin recently opened up about a touching moment with senior actress Kim Hye-soo during filming of the 2015 movie Goodbye Single.

On the March 13 episode of Coupang Play’s variety program Kang Ho-dong’s Neighborhood Bookstore, Lee Sun-bin appeared as the second guest and recounted the heartwarming incident from her early career.
Reflecting on her rookie days, Lee Sun-bin explained, “It was a time so fresh I felt embarrassed calling myself a newcomer—likely around 2015. I landed a minor role in Goodbye Single, sharing a direct scene with Kim Hye-soo. The sequence involved a physical scuffle and shouting.”
Kim Hye-soo’s Thoughtful Preparation
Lee Sun-bin revealed Kim Hye-soo’s considerate approach: “Kim Hye-soo mentioned, ‘Later, I’ll grab you firmly for the fight scene—I’m worried you might get injured.’ She then trimmed her own nails before returning to set, ensuring no scratches for me.”
The senior actress also shared techniques for safely handling the co-star during the action. Lee Sun-bin expressed admiration, stating, “She taught skills for grabbing the opponent. This demonstrates true consideration and synergy with fellow performers.”
