Gazoo member Woo Joo has launched his first solo album, Archive. 1, marking a significant milestone 13 years after his debut. The release coincides with his emotional appearance on the April 1 episode of You Quiz on the Block, where he opened up about his personal journey and deep bond with fans.

During the broadcast, Woo Joo performed as a guest and shared heartfelt stories. He recalled debuting at age 13 amid concerns over heading to Brazil, but senior members provided crucial support. Reflecting on his early days, he noted his mother’s words: “Mommy, Daddy is in this country because of this reason, and that’s why I’m here. Gazoo makes it comfortable too.” His father encouraged him, saying, “Say good words and then debut.”
Woo Joo revealed a poignant family tale, explaining how his father passed away overseas at sea. “Many admire heroic figures, and celebrities are plentiful. But Father passed away overseas, so I carried his urn with pride back to Korea and pursued my path as a singer,” he shared, touching many viewers.
