Amid the surging popularity of the historical drama The Man Who Lives with the King, a touching anecdote about actor Lee Yoo-tae has surfaced, warming fans’ hearts.
Fellow Actor Shares 15-Year-Old Memory
Actor Han Nurikun recently posted a detailed comment on a social media update tied to the film, drawing widespread attention. He recounted a memorable Christmas event from roughly 15 years ago at a Gangnam orphanage.
“Lee Yoo-tae showed up alone, without his manager, carrying pizzas to spend the holiday with the children,” Han Nurikun shared.
Despite the orphanage’s broken boiler leaving the place bitterly cold, Lee stayed engaged. Han noted, “He watched the energetic uncle performances and shared meals with the kids, hopping around despite the chill.”
Children Unaware of Celebrity Guest
Han Nurikun reflected, “The kids saw him simply as a kind uncle there for Christmas fun. They had no idea he was a famous actor and just loved the pizza.”
Even after the performances wrapped, Lee Yoo-tae lingered, chatting and bonding with the children rather than rushing off.
Han concluded emotionally, “From that day, I’ve rooted for him harder. He’s the real deal.”
Fans React with Admiration
The story quickly gained traction online, sparking responses from fans such as “Truly admirable,” “Never heard a story like this before,” and “Even more reason to support him.”
