Members of the Coupang distribution middle chapter of the Korean Confederation of Commerce Unions-affiliated Korean Public Service and Transport Employees’ Union held a shock demonstration on Wednesday afternoon on the head places of work of the web retailer Coupang in Seoul’s Songpa District.

Calling on the corporate to imagine duty for leaks of non-public info and repeated industrial accident deaths, the demonstrators hung massive banners on the foyer staircase and tried to board an elevator to satisfy with Coupang CEO Park Dae-jun.
Three union members, together with the chapter’s president, Jeong Seong-yong, jumped over a velocity gate — which requires entry certification — and boarded an elevator whereas shouting slogans, however had been prevented by constructing officers from reaching the places of work.
