New superior guided missiles have been deployed with the potential of hanging North Korean long-range artillery items hidden in caves, officers mentioned Tuesday.
The Korean Tactical Floor-to-Floor Missile (KTSSM), which is dubbed the “long-range artillery killer,” has been developed since North Korea’s 2010 shelling of Yeonpyeong Island that killed two employees and two Marines.
A ceremony marking the deployment was held on the Military’s strategic missile command in Wonju, Gangwon Province, in accordance with the Protection Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA).
The superior missile is predicted to reinforce the army’s operational capabilities and step up the nation’s key deterrence system, in accordance with DAPA.
