The soundtrack of the Netflix animated movie “KPop Demon Hunters” and boy group Stray Children’ new album “Do It” have each secured locations within the high 10 of the U.S. Billboard major albums chart this week.
Billboard mentioned on Sunday (U.S. time) that the “Kpop Demon Hunters” soundtrack climbed two spots to No. 3 on the Billboard 200, in contrast with the earlier week.
Stray Children’ “Do It,” which entered the chart at No. 1 per week earlier, slipped three locations to No. 4.
The Okay-pop octet had already set a milestone by sending eight consecutive albums to the highest of the Billboard 200, a uncommon feat for any act on the chart.
This week’s No. 1 went to U.S. pop star Taylor Swift’s “The Lifetime of a Showgirl,” which has now spent a complete of eight non-consecutive weeks on the highest.
The Billboard 200 ranks the preferred albums of the week in the US, measured by equal album models, comprising bodily album gross sales, monitor equal albums and streaming equal albums.
In the course of the newest monitoring interval, the animation soundtrack earned the equal of 66,000 album models, whereas Stray Children’ “Do It” generated round 64,000 models.
