Korea and Iran have held working-level coverage talks to debate methods to advance bilateral cooperation, the overseas ministry stated Monday, as the 2 nations search to maintain relations on a restoration monitor following the lifting of the Iranian asset freeze.

Chung requested the Iranian authorities’s consideration and cooperation to make sure the protection and comfort of Korean nationals in Iran.
