“Culinary Class Wars: Season 2” debuted at No. 1 on Netflix’s weekly non-English collection chart, the streaming service mentioned Wednesday.
The hit cooking competitors, launched final Tuesday, topped the class with 5.5 million views for the week ending Dec. 21, in accordance with information from Netflix’s official web site Tudum.
The most recent installment options prime culinary figures, together with Michelin-starred cooks Lee Joon and Son Jong-won, and Ven. Seon-jae, celebrated for her mastery of Buddhist temple delicacies, competing in intense competitions.
Two different Korean collection made the highest 10. The romantic comedy “Dynamite Kiss,” starring Ahn Eun-jin and Jang Ki-yong, adopted at No. 4 with 3.6 million views, whereas the crime thriller “The Worth of Confession,” starring Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun, landed at No. 7 with 2.7 million views.
In the meantime, “The Nice Flood,” launched Friday, debuted at No. 1 on the service’s non-English films chart for a similar interval.
Directed by Kim Byung-woo, the sci-fi catastrophe movie garnered 27.9 million views, dwarfing the Norwegian runner-up “Troll 2,” which attracted 3.1 million views.
The movie depicts the struggles of An-na, performed by Kim Da-mi, a single mom of a 6-year-old son who out of the blue wakes up in the midst of a devastating flood that engulfs her residence complicated and, by extension, the planet. She fights to guard her younger son as she navigates the inundated constructing.
