DAKAR, Senegal — Benin’s authorities mentioned Sunday that it thwarted a coup try by a bunch of troopers who introduced a authorities takeover on state tv hours earlier.
Early Sunday, eight troopers who known as themselves the Army Committee for Refoundation mentioned the president and all state establishments had been eliminated. They justified the coup by saying it will restore “nationwide cohesion” and declared that each one land and sea borders had been closed.
