Samsung C&T, the development arm of Samsung Group, stated Thursday its three way partnership with Australia’s DT Infrastructure has secured a 940 million-won ($635.7 million) deal to construct high-voltage energy transmission services in Australia.
TasVic Greenlink, the three way partnership, signed a contract with Marinus Hyperlink, the undertaking operator, to construct a 750-megawatt high-voltage direct present (HVDC) electrical energy interconnector between the Australian states of Tasmania and Victoria, based on Samsung C&T.
TasVic Greenlink is a 50-50 three way partnership between Samsung C&T and DT Infrastructure.
Samsung C&T stated its observe report in delivering infrastructure initiatives in Australia and globally was acknowledged by the undertaking operator.
The corporate has been increasing its presence within the Australian vitality market following a 200 billion-won deal for the Gnarwarre battery vitality storage undertaking in July.
